NFEA, the national enterprise network, has achieved Putting the Customer First®, the National Standard for Customer Services.

NFEA committed to the standard in July last year and following assessment and review from a Customer First adviser, became fully compliant on 2 February 2010.

Customer First is widely recognised as the National Standard for Customer Service. Putting the Customer First® demonstrates an organisations obligation to customer service and the journey to achieving the standard is a rewarding process.

NFEA Chief Executive George Derbyshire said:
“We are proud to be able to claim full compliance with the Customer First standard. It’s been a very useful exercise which has made us tighten up on one or two areas, and brought home to me just how valuable the standard is as a business improvement tool across the whole organisation”
